Kitties from the hoarder's house

Kitty's kitty's everywhere. I brought every crate, sheet, towel and trap I own to the hoarder house. We caught 19 cats, 2 got away from me in the transfer from the traps to the crates. I was still happy with 17, after several days work and 4 trips a day to this woman's house. Out of the 17 the Vet was able to neuter 6 males there, we ended up with 9 females that we have to bring to the clinic Monday night and one little male who had half of his neck chewed off and a broken leg who had to be put to sleep.

When I was talking to the Vet privately I asked how many cats she thought were here because I was guessing 100. She said that she thought there were more than that.

This morning when I was there I saw 3 little tiny black kitty's, couldn't be more than 8 weeks old. They hang out in a goat pen. 2 of the 3 had ulcerated eyes, all 3 have colds, goopy eyes and snotty noses. I INSISTED that we were going to set traps in there tomorrow morning. I am bringing clavamox, terrimyacin and some lysine to see if we can get them a little healthier before the next Vet visit.

By the way, some of these younger ones are on the fence about being feral or friendly.... I think with some TLC they would come around if anyone is interested.

There is a gorgeous little calico manx that wants to be friendly, and 2 siamese mix females that want to be friendly. Just need some love and patience. Look close at the crates, if you are interested in any please PM me.

I am in this until it is cleaned up and these babies are sterilized or those that need to be humanely euthanized are. I am thrilled there is a Vet willing to help me. She is doing it at a discount but she still has to be paid.

My friends that know me know that I am involved in a bit of an out of control hoarding situation. This woman has at least 100 cats on her property. She is 80 years old, I made a deal with her. I would help her trap and get as many fixed as possible if she let me take any babies born during the process. It is a sad situation, she has found dead babies, dead teens...... not sure from what. She is diligent about feeding and watering. It could be lack of vaccines, eating rodents, who knows. All I know is I need to help. If you would like to help please PM me. We need financial support to s/n, pay for rabies etc. Thank you <3

My sweet Duchess and Capone are at "PUPPY LOVE GROOMING" 5200 Churn Creek Rd, Redding CA for anyone who would like to meet them. They will only be there for one week.

These babies haven't known anything but LOVE and kindness so they are very loving and TRUSTING. They are dog friendly, child friendly, possible breeds, Maine Coon, Russian Blue. It has been suggested that Duchess might be Nebelung.

Duchess really needs someone who is home a lot. This precious girl just wants to sit in your lap all day and cuddle.

Capone is fearless, he will jump on your shoulder then wrap around your neck to walk with you and hang out helping to do whatever. The only time that is concerning to me is when I am cooking dinner (which is also his favorite time to see what is going on).

Another concern I have with Capone is....because he is not afraid of dogs he will try to jump on their back and go for walks. Most dogs don't appreciate this.

Daisy

This is Daisy <3. A woman called me today and said that she just moved in to a home and that a mama cat and kittens kept trying to get into the house :(. Clearly they were left behind by the last owner. Rachel wants to do the right thing, she has called every rescue and shelter that she could. Either they did not respond to her messages or they said they were full :(.  I told Rachel I would work with her. Daisy had an eye infection so Rachel nursed her back to health and in doing so Daisy got a good amount of human contact <3. Daisy is quite friendly, loving and gorgeous, her butterfly marking between her ears is to die for.

Apparently there were 3 siblings but Rachel could only catch 2 others. I told her if she could get the other 2 tamed down I would take them too.

Now....mama, she can get pregnant again, NOW :(. I only have so much room. Rachel was willing to get her fixed and hold on to her until I have another crate open. However Rachel is going in for surgery in two weeks and the soonest she could get mama in is after two weeks at Cottonwood Vet.

If anyone can take mama so she doesn't get pregnant again please PM me.

There are so many good people out there who want to do the right thing by animals. It is so sad that the other folks make so much work for those of us trying to make the world a better place for animals.

Eden and Her Babies

😽 Eden is such a good mama and she is just a young kitty herself. I don't think she is more than 6 months old. I just love her cute baby doll face, and she has stripes and spots like a Savannah mix with a splash of tortie. She will be spayed as soon as babies are weaned. In the mean time, I am taking adoption applications for all of them 😽

Amber , Salem, and Amazing Grace

These 3 were caught in a feral colony at 3 months old. With lots of love and patience they have become loving kitties. Amber is a Manx, she is a little aloof but loves ear rubs and scratches on the back. She will rub up against your legs until you do reach down and pet her <3. Not super fond of being held but I know she will come around. Salem, he has a tail, this boy is all love. He will jump in your lap and love on you for as long as you let him <3. 

The 3rd baby is Amazing Grace. She is a little smaller than her siblings. When she came to me they thought she had neurological problems because she kept tipping over when she reached her front paws up to climb. Some times she would walk side ways. She was the least tame and has taken the longest to work with. It turned out the poor babies ears were FULL of ear mites. Two treatments and 2 bites to me and it cleared up. Gracie is a little different, she is very, very smart but socially awkward. If I had to describe her, she reminds me of highly functioning Autistic humans.
