Kitty's kitty's everywhere. I brought every crate, sheet, towel and trap I own to the hoarder house. We caught 19 cats, 2 got away from me in the transfer from the traps to the crates. I was still happy with 17, after several days work and 4 trips a day to this woman's house. Out of the 17 the Vet was able to neuter 6 males there, we ended up with 9 females that we have to bring to the clinic Monday night and one little male who had half of his neck chewed off and a broken leg who had to be put to sleep.
When I was talking to the Vet privately I asked how many cats she thought were here because I was guessing 100. She said that she thought there were more than that.
This morning when I was there I saw 3 little tiny black kitty's, couldn't be more than 8 weeks old. They hang out in a goat pen. 2 of the 3 had ulcerated eyes, all 3 have colds, goopy eyes and snotty noses. I INSISTED that we were going to set traps in there tomorrow morning. I am bringing clavamox, terrimyacin and some lysine to see if we can get them a little healthier before the next Vet visit.
By the way, some of these younger ones are on the fence about being feral or friendly.... I think with some TLC they would come around if anyone is interested.
There is a gorgeous little calico manx that wants to be friendly, and 2 siamese mix females that want to be friendly. Just need some love and patience. Look close at the crates, if you are interested in any please PM me.
I am in this until it is cleaned up and these babies are sterilized or those that need to be humanely euthanized are. I am thrilled there is a Vet willing to help me. She is doing it at a discount but she still has to be paid.
